Two transitions at once
Ausnutria is an international dairy company in infant and children's nutrition. Within the Dutch organisation, the Dairy Trade department faced a legal transition that coincided with the implementation of a new SAP system. A dedicated project team had been set up for the technology.
The legal changeover also created work in areas including Finance, Quality Assurance, legal affairs, certifications and account management. To organise these non-IT activities coherently and monitor progress, Ausnutria brought in Student Consultant.
A legal transition affects many parts of an organisation at once. Work runs across several departments, each with its own planning, and often depends on steps taken elsewhere.
Ausnutria therefore needed central project coordination: one approach bringing together activities, responsibilities, dependencies and deadlines, aligned with the existing IT planning.
