At Student Consultant, we offer the student job where you are part of an ambitious and supportive team of student consultants who want to develop themselves and others.
Our consultants describe it as a place where, in a short time, you not only gain valuable work experience, but also make friends for life.
Don't worry: you don't have to be a consultant yet. Guided by experienced professionals, we take the first steps together. You work with leading companies in the Netherlands and develop yourself through training from renowned consultancy firms. You usually carry out projects as part of a team, ranging from strategy and business issues to data-driven analyses and IT solutions. You can also grow into a role such as project manager, coach or hub manager, entirely at your own pace and in your own way.
We also offer the opportunity to contribute to social initiatives through our For Good branch. Think of spending an afternoon helping out at Oma's Soep or supporting a sports event for charity.
Are you a data/IT or business student? Then Student Consultant is the place where you can apply your academic knowledge in practice straight away. Here you work on real projects for real clients and develop rapidly as a consultant.

Although every project is different, you can expect the following during a working week.
You work an average of 20 hours on a project for a client. In addition, you contribute to Talent Experience with your hub, by welcoming new colleagues and strengthening the bond within your hub.
You can often decide flexibly when you work. Of course, you mainly work during office hours, but you can certainly also put in hours outside them (at the weekend) if that suits you better.
On your first project, you always work in a team. That is often the case afterwards too, although some projects are ones you take on independently. On every project, you are guided by an experienced in-house coach who helps you grow in the consultancy profession.
You can tell us what kind of projects appeal to you; we try to take this into account as much as possible when staffing projects.
At one of our offices in Tilburg, Amsterdam or Nijmegen.
At the client's office. Whether this is weekly or not differs per project.
When you are not at the office, you decide where and when you work, for example at home or at the university where you study.
There are regular get-togethers, periodic internal and external training sessions and fun team outings where you meet your colleagues. Through our For Good branch, you also get the chance to contribute to social initiatives from time to time.
You receive an all-in hourly wage of between €14.50 and €22.35. On top of that, you travel free on public transport, at the weekend too!
This may seem like a considerable time investment, but because you can schedule your hours very flexibly, it combines well with your studies. Our student consultants find that all the work and additional activities are well balanced with their private life.
Before you start, you receive two core training sessions that take you step by step through all the basic principles of consultancy.
You also regularly get the chance to attend external training at a renowned consultancy firm, so you can develop your skills further.
While carrying out projects, you are coached by experienced consultants and learn how to work as a consultant in practice.
Thanks to the training you receive and the personal development you go through, your career prospects are very broad, with plenty of opportunities to grow in both business and data/IT projects.
